Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a CrossFit professional athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She's the co-owner of Crossfit Reykjavik where she also is a coach and trainer. Annie is the only female ever to be crowned winner of CrossFit Games on two occasions. In 2010, she finished second. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelandic weightlifter who is also an Icelandic CrossFit athlete as well as a popular TV personality. She has gained fame for being the sole woman to ever win two CrossFit Games: in 2011 as well as 2012. She is also known for winning the Dubai Fitness Competition in both 2013 and 2017. In the following year she was a participant in another CrossFit competitions and due to her dominant performance she won the contest becoming the first female to take home a trophy at CrossFit Games. Annie won again in the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her exceptional performance. She was the first female athlete to be crowned the winner of twice in CrossFit Games at once. Besides this in 2014 she won a silver medal as well as in 2021, she was awarded a bronze medal in CrossFit Games. Annie works as a trainer and coach in Crossfit Reykjavik. It was her idea. Annie was a well-known athlete when she gained fame. She's worked on behalf of a variety of sports brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Revolution Periodization Nuun Hydroxylysis Sidekick Yerbae among others.
