Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou born Beaumont, the French city of Puy-deDomme on August 9, 1976. Audrey is the largest child of 4 children. Her parents who was both dentists and a teacher, recognized and supported their daughter's enthusiasm for drama and theater at a young stage. The support they provided is more than enough for Audrey to overcome her original goal of becoming a an animal scientist. She rose to prominence as a child actress quickly and with great success. After completing her studies, she participated in the French talent-spotting TV show Jeunes Premiers that was sponsored by Canal+. She won the award for the best young Actress award at Beziers Festival of Young Actors and began her acting career. Although she studied at in the Institut Catholique de Paris and went to church as a child, Tautou is now averse to the Catholic tradition, saying that she is not officially Catholic. She pursued a career in modeling along with her acting career. She is the model for L'Oreal Mont Blanc and Chanel is often called the Chanel Muse. Recently, at the Arles Arts Festival, she showed an array of photos under the name Superficial. Her photographs focuses primarily on celebrity and the spotlight. Cameras are focused on journalists who examined her as she rose to fame in Amelie. Audrey Tautou became a star and gained international recognition with her role debut as Amelie Poulain in Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie. Amelie gained international attention due to its success at the box office. It also received praise during awards ceremonies around the world. It's the largest French film in the history of French language to be made in the US. After this film's success, Tautou appeared in many film productions ranging from British dramas such as Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things to Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Un long dimanche of fiancailles. She then moved to Hollywood through Ron Howard's direction of the Dan Brown bestseller The Da Vinci Code alongside Tom Hanks.
