Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy is an American actor. Her birth date was June 13, 1962. After her first film Bad Boys starring as a Brat Pack part of WarGames in 1983 and The Breakfast Club '85 she was well-known as a part of this group. Sheedy earned an Independent Spirit Award Best Female leading for her role in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy's is both an American writer and actress. Her career in film began in the early 1980s when she starred in the crime drama film, Bad Boys. The film was written and directed by Rick Rosenthal also starred other famous actors, including Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck. Following her success in her first film she also appeared in the comedy-drama film The Breakfast Club. The movie was directed by John Hughes is considered one among the most memorable film productions for high school ever made. Although the budget was just $1 million its earnings crossed 50 million dollars. Meanwhile she had also started appearing in various TV shows such as CBS Schoolbreak which was her TV debut. The show was for teenagers that started airing in April of 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues are other TV shows where she was a part of. The most recent of her appearances is Little Sister, a film featuring a superhero with Sheedy as an appearance in a minor role. Sheedy is the recipient of numerous awards for her outstanding performances, among them an award from the MTV Movie Award Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
